Jesus’ first miracle was a glimpse into His future… He has come to wash us clean by the water of the Word, the wine representing His blood shed for us to remove our sins. A picture of marriage with the husband laying his life down for his wife, the Lord laid down His life for the Church. Jesus knew what His purpose was, even if others (even His family) did not fully understand.
