“…Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and appeared to over 500 brethren at once.” That is the simple straight-forward Gospel message delivered by Paul the Apostle. God became man to take on the sins of the world. Jesus was born to die… and rise again! The resurrection is everything! If it did not happen we are dead in our sin… but it did happen!
