Andrew and another disciple (perhaps the author of this Gospel) leave following John the Baptist and begin to follow Jesus and are convinced He is the Messiah. Andrew brings his brother Simon to Jesus and Phillip tells Nathanael to “come and see.” Then Jesus begins a very interesting conversation with Nathanael about Himself being the ladder that leads to heaven. Could this be the Christ?
