Samaria and Jerusalem are two “harlot sisters” representing Israel’s heart going after foreign gods and forsaking the God of their fathers. Ezekiel declares the Lord’s judgment on them as well as specifically Jerusalem as a pot of non-edible soup. And the loss of Ezekiel’s wife as a warning to Jerusalem as well.
