As Christians we are all stewards or “under rowers” under our Captain Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul reminds the Corinthians of their task of working together in Jesus for the Gospel instead of exalting one over the other or rejecting others even though they are serving by faith.

Paul encourages the Corinthians and anyone who is a believer in Jesus Christ to continue in the Gospel, yet they feel back into the wisdom of the world. Be a fool for Jesus who has given us many gifts of grace through the cross… forgiveness, freedom, friendship with God!

In a city full of philosophies and religions and sensuality the Apostle Paul reminds the church to focus on the message of the cross. The Gospel is what makes us right with God, it is what makes us the church and gives us unity. It’s all about Jesus… all glory to Him!
