Satan in the form of a serpent enters the scene and turns everything upside down! The woman was deceived (yet chose to believe the deception rather than God) and the man was not deceived, but willingly disobeyed the Lord. Yet even though their relationship with God was affected, men began to call upon the name of the Lord and the Lord graciously worked and continues to work in our fallen world.
